New Customization Options for Online Store Block

We have introduced new block settings for the Shop block allowing your users to:

• change the number of products
• adjust the styling of the Shop block - spacing and background color
• select and display a specific product category

Product amounts 

To change the amount of the product, please navigate to the Shop block settings menu and drag a slider to the needed extent. At a minimum, one product can be shown. The maximum number is 100. 

Block style and spacing 

It’s now possible to customize the color scheme and whitespaces of the Shop block. To do so, please access the Block settings menu-> Appearance tab. From here, your users have several block style options as well as they can adjust spaces between the blocks as they see fit. 

The color schemes are compatible with website design settings, so if your users decide to utilize any predefined color palette or create their own, the new styling will be replicated for the Shop block as well. 

Product category 

With the addition of the category option, your users can decide on a default product category displayed when site visitors come to the page for the first time.

The ability to choose a root category makes Online store management more flexible. For example, it serves when end-users want to create pages dedicated to a particular product category so that their site visitors can start from that specific selection. 

To choose a root product category, please open the Shop block settings menu, and use the Category selector in the Appearance tab. 

Site visitors will be able to access all other products and categories in a webshop using internal navigation.
