Block Settings

You can change almost every element of the block. This tutorial will walk you through every setting that can be modified in the Block settings menu.

Accessing the Block settings menu 

To access the Block settings menu:

1. Hover over any area of the block. The dialog box will appear.
2. Click on the “gear” Settings icon to access the Block settings menu.

Customizing Block settings

You can make changes to the content of the block and its elements by checking or unchecking block options.

Which block settings you can change

You can change the following block settings to change the block content and layout.

Block secondary title 

The block’s secondary title is used to add more description to the block. Check this option to add a secondary title that is displayed on top of the main title. Use this area to add a short description of the block. 

 

Block title 

The block’s main title is the most prominent content. Check this option to add the main title which draws the focus on the page. Use this area to describe this particular section of the page.

Block subtitle

Block’s subtitle is displayed beneath the main title. Use this area to add more depth to your services or products. You can add more details to your offer or describe competitive benefits. 

 

Block description

This content area is located below the block subtitle. Use this content area to describe your products or services in greater detail. Check this option to add more content to the block or uncheck to remove it.

Feature icon

Some block elements have icons that help attract attention to the particular feature and also help the visitor better navigate your page. Check this option to add the icon to the page. You can replace the icon with another relevant image from our extensive Icon library which contains over 3000 icons that are guaranteed to look great on all devices.

 If you don’t want to show the Icon, you can remove it by unchecking this option. The design of the block element will update automatically. 

Feature button

This button or link leads to the page that provides more details about the feature of your product or service. 

 

Primary button

This is the main button for your users to click. Use this button to guide users towards your goal, be it booking a room or making the appointment. The Primary button is usually filled with color, as opposed to the Secondary button which is outlined. Make it clear where you want your users to click!

Secondary button

The Secondary button helps your visitors to get in touch to learn more about your services or offers. This button is less prominent yet it supports your main call to action by encouraging users to continue learning about your products or services. Check this option to display the second button in your block or uncheck to keep just one button in the block. 

 

Service image

Add or remove an image that illustrates the services you are offering. You can opt to remove the image from this block by unchecking the box. The design of the block will be updated automatically.

Service title

You can add a title to the Services block element by customizing this content area. If you choose to uncheck this option, the design of the block will be updated automatically.

 

Service description

You can modify this content area by adding your own description of the services you are offering. This area is located underneath the Service title. You can choose to remove this text area by unchecking the box next to this option. 

Author photo

This option in Testimonials block settings allows you to display the photo of the client who has provided the testimonial or a review about your services or products. You can replace the photo and it will automatically become cropped to fit in a circle.

 

Author name

This option allows you to display the name of the testimonial author. You can uncheck this option to remove this text area from the testimonial or a review. 

Author position

This option in the Testimonials block allows you to display a line of text below the testimonial author’s name. You can use this line to display the location or any other details about the testimonial author. Uncheck this option to remove the line from the Testimonials block. This action will affect all testimonials in this block. 

Testimonial icon

This option enables you to display or remove the icon in the Testimonials elements. Icons are great for drawing attention and easier navigation. To change the icon, follow the steps outlined in this tutorial. Uncheck this option to remove the icons from the Testimonials block. 

 

Testimonial rating

Showcase the five-star rating when adding customer reviews or testimonials! This visual element helps to highlight the quality of your products or services. To add the stars to the Testimonials elements, check this option. To remove, uncheck. The overall design of the block will adjust automatically.

Pricing icon

Icons help add visual appeal to your pricing block and also serve as focal points for your visitors. Check this option to display icons in your Pricing block. To remove, uncheck it. You can modify the icon following steps in this tutorial. 

Pricing list

This option turns on or off the display of the list of items that may be included in your pricing package. You can delete any line in this list or add more lines. To remove the list from your Pricing block element, uncheck this option. 

Pricing button

This option adds a button or a link below your pricing package description allowing your customers to instantly purchase the item they want. You can customize the button text and its destination following the steps outlined in this tutorial.

To remove this item, uncheck this option.
