The hardest part of keeping up with a quality social media strategy is consistently posting to all of your different social channels.
With the social dashboard, you can now post content to all of your social media profiles with a few short clicks.
First, navigate to the social media tool in the platform. Then click the "Compose" button (compose can also be opened through a number of share buttons throughout the system).
Next, decide which profiles you'd like to post your content to. Your profiles will have to be set up in the platform to be accessible.
Once you've selected the profiles you'd like to post to, write the content you'd like for your posts in the body area. Any links you insert will automatically be shortened for you to save characters for post limitations, and will show you a preview of how it will show on your profile posts.
Make sure to keep an eye on the character limits in the bottom right hand side of the content area to make sure you don't go over.
Now that your content is written and ready to go, feel free to spice it up with some attachments. You can attach multiple sources of media from a number of different places like images, videos, gifs, etc.
So your post is ready to go, and you've added your attachments. Feel free to go ahead and post by clicking the "Send Now" button as shown below. OR.......
Perhaps you'd rather send your post out at a different time? Maybe you saw in your monitor tool that your best time for engagement to your social posts happens in the early evening, and you won't have time to post something then.
Easy! Use the Schedule feature, and set the date and time you'd like the post to go out. This is a great feature for those that want to take care of their social postings during a designated slow time of the day, but ensure it goes out at a hot hour for your business.
Or, maybe you have a post that you're working on, but need to run. Save it as a draft to finish up later.
Another cool feature is the "Send for Approval." Use this button if you have an employee working for you that helps you manage your social media, but you want to make sure you do a quick check of his or her post before it gets blasted out to the world. We've all see what a poorly thought through post can do to a business...
