We’ve now helped many clients increase good quality traffic and conversions to their website using the SEO tool, and here are our top unique features.
1. Above-the-Fold / below-the-fold Flag
Module: Keywords
Above the Fold (ATF) refers to everything in the first screen view, or before a user has to scroll down. With the increasing amount of SERP features that Google are testing and implementing, you can sometimes find your rankings drop below the fold which has a direct impact on traffic and conversions.
We created a Google Data Studio report last year about the travel industry (pre-pandemic) to understand the volatility of the SERP of Google and found:
-
95.1% of No.1 Ranking Organic Results are below the fold of the page on Mobile.
-
59.4% of No.1 Ranking Organic Results are below the fold of the page on Desktop.
The tool's unique view of ranking positions tells you if your top-ranking keywords are below or above the fold. Visit the Keyword Ranking Module and use the filter as you can see below:
2. User Intent score
Module: Keyword Rankings/ Visibility Explorer
A lot has been written about the importance of understanding keyword intent, or ‘User Intent’ as it is an essential part of the SEO keyword and audience research process.
Within the platform, you will now see an intent score against each keyword to help you with your SEO and content marketing campaigns! This is a colour bar at the bottom of each keyword you are tracking in your project.
These new User Intent scores are available for each monitored keyword in each project (and for every SERPs API request).
There are 4 types of Search Intent
-
Navigational – the user is looking for a specific entity: e.g. A company, website, brand, product, event, location, social media handle, etc.
-
Informational – the user is looking for general facts or information about a topic that has no commercial intent.
-
Research – this is ‘commercial research’ where the user is researching a product or service and is looking for relevant data about what to buy and where to buy it, to inform their decision.
-
Transactional – the user has narrowed their research and is now looking to purchase a specific product or service.
3. Most comprehensive Universal SERP feature support
Module: Keyword Ranking / Visibility Explorer
Universal results, or SERP features, continue to dominate Page 1 of Google and other search engines. Being so visible means the click-through-rate is high, driving more traffic and conversions to your site, therefore it is important to know how your site is performing in the SERPs.
Did you know that the SEO tools supports one of the highest number of SERP features/ Universal results in the world? This means that results such as Images, News and People Also Ask results are fully supported, as well as Organic FAQ's, Knowledge Panels, Flight Finder and a lot more!

5. Flexible KW ranking system
Module: Keyword Ranking
The SEO tool allows you to use your keyword credits in a fully flexible way by tracking keywords on a daily or weekly frequency. Keywords which are ‘head terms’ or high search volume terms and thus more lucrative, are those which you may wish to track daily. Weekly tracking can be useful for keywords which have a lower priority or perhaps see less fluctuation in the SERP’s. N.B. we also offer fortnightly and monthly tracking too, just get in touch to enable this.
In the below example, keywords ‘boohoo’ and ‘adidas’ are being checked weekly, and this is marked by the “w”. The keyword ‘nike’ is being checked daily, and this is marked by the “d”.
Changing the frequency can be done in one of the following three ways:
-
Click on the letter to toggle between daily and weekly frequencies
-
Select a keyword (s) and go to Action > Track Daily/ Weekly
-
Import the new frequencies using the bulk upload template by clicking on Import > Keywords.
6. Download 1/2 million keywords from the Visibility Explorer and unlimited usage
Module: Visibility Explorer
The Visibility Explorer gives you quick and instant access to our proprietary database of over 120 million keywords across 26 major international markets and languages.
Visibility Explorer allows you to:

• Query a limitless number of domains and download hundreds of thousands of queries
• Track visibility vs. competitors over time
Once logged in, simply go to Market Analysis > Visibility Explorer and add the domains you want to analyse.
You can quickly and easily download the raw data in CSV format. Click on the Settings icon and select ‘Download CSV’. This will export up to 500,000 rows of data.
7. Sophisticated SEO forecasting
Module: SEO Forecasting
We have a unique dedicated SEO forecasting module in the platform which helps you to make realistic forecasts and predictions for rank changes, which you can then use to plan and budget your SEO projects.
The system is flexible enough, so you can create a simple forecast or produce a sophisticated forecast over time by groups of tagged keywords using custom CTRs% - how detailed a forecast you want is up to you!
SEO forecasts are typically made using standard or customised click-through rate models built on your keyword ranking data and search volume data for every keyword. You simply make traffic and conversion forecasts at keyword level based on the improvements of the rankings of those terms.
Once you are in the module, two options will be presented to you to forecast potential traffic gains.
-
Simple SEO Forecasting: You control the Simple Forecast by operating the two sliders to the top right of the table.
-
Advanced SEO Forecasting: Our software attempts to provide more realistic results by applying a model when generating forecasts. This model can be customised if needed, and offers three scenarios:
Low – A fairly conservative expectations of achievable rank
Medium – A reasonable assumption of what is achievable
High – This shows a best-case scenario given your current rank position
8. Upload your own SV and CPC data and customise at a keyword level
Module: SEO Forecasting/ Keyword Ranking
Any keyword that you upload to the SEO tool will automatically have its monthly search volume and cost per click (CPC) data updated, but did you know that you can also use custom values?
When adding keywords to the platform, there is a template CSV sheet that can be downloaded and filled out to help with quick and easy upload. In this sheet, you will find columns to enter your own search volume and CPC metrics. These values will be used in calculations for site traffic, the monetary value of traffic and share of search.
After uploading your CSV sheet, head over to ‘Settings’, followed by ‘Keywords’, which is the sixth option on the left-hand side. Once here, change your Search Volume Mode to ‘Custom in preference to Default’ in order to pick up on the search volume and CPC that you uploaded.
9. Influence and Relevance, 'Links to me', Competitor links to target
Module: Backlinks
A backlink profile shows you the websites which provide a link to a specific domain and thus help drive visitors to that website! A strong profile with trusted domains increases the strength and authority of a domain, which in turn can impact keyword rankings and the number of website visits and conversions!
The platform analyses your domain and provides the full list of backlinks once a month (or more if required!). The platform can also analyze a competitor's profile and help identify those backlinks which are missing from your profile and worth targeting.
Firstly Click on "Start Timeline" in the Link Data module, as shown below.
You will then see a pop-up box where choose how often you would like the platform to analyse the domain - choose from Monthly, Every Two Months or Twice a Month:
Once the analysis is complete, you will see a full list of all the referring domains to your website, as below. Click on the Influence/ Relevance columns to identify the strongest links to your domain, as well as the lowest value/ toxic links.
