Creating a company page on LinkedIn is a straightforward process, but you must have a personal profile first.
Steps to Create Your Page
- Open the Business Menu: From your LinkedIn homepage, click the "For Business" icon (sometimes labeled "Work") in the upper-right corner.
- Select "Create a Company Page": Scroll to the bottom of the side menu and click Create a Company Page+.
- Choose Your Page Type: Select the option that best fits your organization:
- Company: For small, medium, or large businesses.
- Showcase Page: For sub-pages associated with an existing company page.
- Educational Institution: For schools and universities.
- Enter Page Details:
- Name: Your official business name.
- LinkedIn Public URL: A unique web address (e.g.,
://linkedin.com). - Website: Your external business URL.
- Industry & Size: Select the categories that best describe your operations.
- Add Visuals:
- Logo: Upload a square image (recommended size: 300 x 300 pixels).
- Tagline: A brief (120-character max) description of what you do.
- Verify & Create: Check the box confirming you are an authorized representative and click "Create page".
Key Requirements
- Personal Profile: You must be logged into a personal account to act as the page admin.
- Connections: Your personal profile typically needs at least 1 to 10 connections to prove authenticity before creating a page.
